               Travelling is an appealing experience. It's an ideal way to leave your current life behind to pursue a more relaxing or adventurous break, or to live in and explore a new place. The experience of travel is commonly about enturing out there and bringing back experiences to share. There is this kind of role behind travelling that involves recording the experiences that are different from your common,home life.                 A few days ago, I just made up my mind to create my journey to Malacca. I've been to Malacca for a few times but with my family. When it comes to this trip, I travelled together with my friends. For the first time of my life, I travelled more than 100km from my house with my girls and it was a great gift from my dad. They'd given me permission to go but I must not drive to Malacca. So, I took the KTM express which started at KL Sentral and pointed to Gemas as a final destination. I get off the train at Seremban and my tour guide which actually my friend picked me up there. 

So, my first destination was Batu Berendam. After 2 hours been in train from KRU to Seremban, it was worth it to have coconut shake and noodle soup. This coconut shake is one of the big fame in Malacca. It's very juicy ,sweet and superb delicious and a glass won't be enough for you. They put a scoop of vanilla ice cream as a topping and some chocolate rices .They served us with a jug of FREE pure coconut drink too. The largest branch of this coconut shake is located at Klebang. But,you need to queue up about thousand minutes to get your order.  

 My second day was my real trip. First, I and my friends having our breakfast at Paparich. I ordered mocha coffee,fried noodle and vege dim sum. My beginning of the day spoiled when I found a staple in my fried noodle. Thank Allah I found it or else I could be chocked. I reported to the waiter tht served us with a good manner and just forgive him. Well, people make mistake. Lesson number one, forgive people and hit them by good words. So, our trip started after we finished the breakfast.

Actually there were many places we've visited. But since there are too lot of photos, only these that I can show. So, this is my first travel. I took only 2 days fo this trip which I prefered as 'fast trip' and need to return to home as soon as possible. Hope to travel the whole Malaysia before I finish my degree and then pursue to travel around the world.

Al-Kahfi

This article discusses the theme of Surah Al Kahf. Al-Kahf is the 18th Surah of the Quran and it mentions 4 stories:

1. The People of Cave
2. The Companion of Two Gardens
3. Musa and Khidr
4. Dhul Qurnayn

It may seem that none of these stories are related to one another, but we see that the maqsad (purpose/theme) of all these stories are one: Fitnah.

This surah explains Fitnah in different aspects of life.

1. Fitnah of Religion (Story of the People of the Cave)
2. Fitnah of Wealth (Story of the Man with Two Gardens)
3. Fitnah of Knowledge (Story of Musa and Khidr)
4. Fitnah of Power (Dhul Qarnain)

Each of these stories outline how each of these 4 things can bring us fitnah. It also outlines how the believer should approach these trials and tribulations.

FITNAH OF RELIGION: THE WAY TO DEAL WITH THIS IS MENTIONED IN AN AYAAH AFTER THE STORY:

“And keep yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His Face, and let not your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp and glitter of the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our Remembrance, one who follows his own lusts and whose affair (deeds) has been lost.” (Surah Kahf: 28)

So if you are faced with fitnah because of your religion, the solution is to be patient and to be in the company of the righteous. This will give you strength to persevere.

FITNAH OF WEALTH: THE WAY TO DEAL WITH THIS IS MENTIONED HERE:

“Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world. But the good righteous deeds that last, are better with your Lord for rewards and better in respect of hope.” (Surah Kahf: 46)

So the way to deal with this fitnah is to realize the reality of this wordly life. It is temporary, while the hereafter is everlasting.

FITNAH OF KNOWLEDGE:

Musa A.S. thought he was the most knowledgeable person on the earth and so Allah revealed to him that there is someone who knows more. After traveling with this man (Khidr), He could not be patient of the things he would do, and did not see the wisdom. The way to deal with this fitnah is to remain humble and not to let your knowledge delude you.

“If Allah will, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught.” (Surah Kahf: 64)

FITNAH OF POWER:

Dhul Qarnayn was given a vast kingdom stretching from the east to the west. But yet he was still sincere to Allah and did not let this power delude him, and he helped the people of the city which were fearful of Ya’juj and ma’juj. So the way to deal with the Fitnah of power is to have sincerity in your deeds to Allah, as it was mentioned in this ayaah:

“Say: ‘Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds? Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds!’” (Surah Kahf: 103-14)

ENDING OF THE SURAH:

This Surah ends with the most perfect way to deal with all types of fitnah, and that is to remember the hereafter.

“So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord.” (Surah Kahf: 110)

Something to definitely reflect when we read it every Friday. As well, it is mentioned that one of the wisdoms behind reading this surah on jumu’ah is because we are asked to leave the fitnah of this worldly life and join the congregation. How appropriate!

EXTRA KNOWLEDGE:

Hadith about the first 10 verses of Surah Kahf:

Abu Darda’ reported Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of the Surah al-Kahf, he will be protected from the Dajjal. (Muslim :: Book 4 : Hadith 1766)

Changes

CHANGE 1. Make or become different 2. Take or use another instead of 3. The act of instance of making or become different.

Some of them could be.....

" you're no longer the old you and I dislike it" 

"you've changed into someone better, Alhamdulillah!" 

"Why are you turning into this?"

 "I don't know you anymore"

Too many comments from people and sometimes it becomes one of the obstacle that stuck us at the same position. Why bother about it? If you intended to turn yourself into someone better, then just do it.

 "But people are so freaking judgemental and I'm afraid if they couldn't accept the new me".

I admit that it's not as easy as we said to make changes in our life. We might be ignored or dumped by certain people. But.. There's one thing that you need to bear in mind, Allah will always be with people who seeks for His redha. Allah would help people who's on His way. Indeed, adapting with our changes will take time. Don't take it too drastic. You may carry it step by step. Such as...

1. Recite a page per day of Al-Quran. Take it slowly and improve it step by step by recite it every time after your Subuh. Then, proceed to the next step and make it every time after you've finished your prayer. One day, you will feel something incomplete if you missed it and look! You've successful changed from somebody who was randomly recited the Al-Quran into somebody who used to it.

2. Wearing hijab. Hijab isn't used to cover only your hair, but your chest too. Make it slowly. Get used to cover your chest first. Same goes for your attire, You don't need to wear the abayas or muslim robes to cover the whole parts of your body. I suggest you to wear the clothes which is not tight to show off your 'precious things' such as long-sleeves T-shirt, palazo,long skirts and so on as long as it loose and doesn't stick to your body.

Well, I am no good in giving examples but the main thing is, hijrah can be carried out slowly. Don't too rush and being so drastic in changing. Keep calm and make it step by step. You will never walk alone, because Allah is always there to help you.

Forgive

I've ever told that something happened and yet it changed the whole life of mine. And... Yeah, it started with somebody. But, in processed of adaptations with new life and kind of new presence,there's a thing being a burden in my mind. Was it a tumour? Or kind of blood spilled out from you vein on your top caused of over thinking and depression? No. It something like revenge. Yeah, it's revenge.

I swear I won't forgive that person.

It just my mouth saying it but in deep of my heart, it's different. It's not I wont forgive the person for the rest of my life. It just takes time to heal. Maybe weeks,months,years or for the rest of my life..

Well, the best revenge is to move on. Looking forward for new life and creating new memories with new people. Mom even said so to me. Well she also a bit disappointed with that person too for KINDLY hurt her daughter but not as much as mine. As we figured it out, we still have to deal with it. Just accept the fate and miracle would happen soon. 

"And let not those among you who are blessed with graces and wealth swear not to give [any sort of help] to their kinsmen, Al-Masakin [the poor] and those who left their homes for Allah's Cause. Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving,Most Merciful." (QS An-Nuur 24:22)

TRANSLATED

"Janganlah orang-orang yg mempunyai kelebihan dan kelapangan di antara kamu bersumpah bahawa mereka tidak akan memberi [bantuan] kepada kaum kerabat[nya], orang-orang yg miskin dan orang-orang yg berhijrah di jalan Allah. Hendaklah mereka memaafkan dan berlapang dada. Apakah kamu tidak ingin agar Allah mengampunimu?? Sesungguhnya Allah adalah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang." (QS An-Nuur 24:22)

Give some reflection to myself. Don't you want Allah to forgive you? If you don't, then just let it be.  Let the grudge lead you and finally it gonna kill yourself,your life and people you love too. So,here are the tips. Make yourself clean with it. Don't make the anger as your leader, or else, you gonna regret for the whole of your life . Forgive but it is not as that easy to forget. Make it as a lesson and the lessons help you to think wisely before you proceed with your actions. Don't fill your life with something that won't worth you as life is short. Enjoy it. 

Life

I spent so much time with my studies, assignments,lab reports and books during my past 4 months.

Now, it's time  to rest and do the things that I missed.

It's been a long day since I updated my blog. My last post was on November 2011. I was form 2 at that time.

Well, people said that as you growing up, you are gaining the maturity through what you've been through. Is that right? I was thinking about that quote and can't deny it that is true. I'm making my future great and creating the memories so that one day I can tell my children how things work to survive,living at the end of this world. Ain't it funny? Haha.. There're so much things I've been through all this while. Something that I've never crossed has occured and yet, it changed the whole life of mine. Something that taught us how to appreciate every  single moment that we've been into. Something that making our life become more interesting and we feel great with it.  To make it short, I put all my trust to Him. He made all the way that I need to go through and making the impact in my life by passing them. Know what? Even the smallest thing can change our life. The only thing we need to do is, decide and hold your trust to our Creator. The little things are what make up life.

Love

Of all the lessons that I've learnt, I put all my trust to Him. 
                                                             10 years ago... Nash: Anna, I've decided. We need to break up. Anna: Nash? Are you kidding me? Nash: I'm not kidding,babe. Anna: We've been in love for 4 years. Don't you love this relationship? Nash: Yes,I do. That's why we need to break up. Anna: But why?? *crying* Nash: Dear,please listen here. Do you believe in Allah? Do you believe in destiny? Anna: *Nodding her head and still crying* Nash: I love you but this is not the right time. Trust me, Anna.
After 5 years Nash: Hello, Assalamualaikum, Anna? Anna: Waalaikumusalam,yes I am. Nash: It's me. Nash. How are you? Anna: Oh! Nash. I'm fine, How about you? Nash: I'm fine too. Anna: Why are you calling me? Nash: Urmm.. It's hard to say but, I just want to make it clear. Anna: What is it about? Nash: Have you find you favourite person? The right one? Anna: Urmm. I think I've found it. Nash: Okay. Hope that you'll be happy with him.Take care.


Now... Nash: Dear, do you still remember 10 years ago? Anna: Urmm... Which part? Nash: The day when I decided to let you go. The day where we've to be apart. Remember? Anna: Of course I remember. Why are you reminding that part? It was the saddest part in my life. Nash: Would you like to know something behind that moment? Anna: Yes, of course. Nash: Because I put all my trust to Allah. I love you, that's why I let you go. I don't want to drag you into the hell that have been created by our Creator. I believe the destiny that've been arranged by Him Anna: Drag me into the hell?? Nash: Yup. Because loving each other without marriage doesn't worth it. Allah disapprove the love.The true love is when you are married each other and going through your life together with your spouse. Facing the hardship,the happiness, the sweetness of life and become part of his life. We might be permanent if we still in love 10 years ago but, our marriage wouldn't be as happy as now. Allah would pay for it after we've married. We don't know and we can't predict the future but Allah do. Do things that make Allah please with us. We are going to have a baby soon. If it's a girl, of course I don't want her to date someone like me like 10 years ago. I want the best for her. Who isn't only seeking for her pleasure but,love her and take care of her when we're no longer here. Anna: And if the baby's boy? Nash: I woud teach him how to play football and support Liverpool. Haha Anna: Heyy! *tryin' to pinch off her husband* Nash: Hahaha It's true what. I will make him as a protective guy who can guide his family,who can               take care of us at the end of our ages. Just pray for our children the best. InshaAllah. *Smile*                                                                         وَلا تَقْرَبُوا الزِّنَا إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً وَسَاءَ سَبِيلا    "And come not near to the unlawful sex. Verily, it is a Fahishah [i.e. anything that transgresses its limits( a great sin) ] and evil,way (that leads one to the Hell unless Allah forgives him] "                                                             (QS Al-Israa 17:32)                                                                     Translated
"Dan janganlah kalian mendekati zina; Sesungguhnya zina itu adalah suatu perbuatan keji dan suatu jalan yang buruk" (QS Al-Israa 17:32)

                     No matter how far you go, if the destiny were yours,then it will be yours.                              REAL LOVE MEANS HELPING EACH OTHER ATTAIN TO JANNAH,                NOT HOLDING EACH OTHER'S HANDS WALKING TOWARDS HELLFIRE.     

Giving

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 

"And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good. "   

(QS Al Baqarah 2:195)

 Translated: 

"Dan belanjakanlah [apa yang ada pada kamu] kerana [menegakkan] agama Allah dan janganlah kamu sengaja mencampakkan diri kamu ke dalam bahaya kebinasaan [bersifat bakhil]; dan baikilah [dengan sebaik-baiknya segala usaha] dan perbuatan kamu kerana sesungguhnya Allah mengasihi orang orang yang berusaha memperbaiki amalannya"(QS Al Baqarah 2:195)

Observing and judging upon the world and surrounding, I've seen the side of this matter. Allah had stated in His noble words, for those who's giving their wealth to others, then Allah would give him more than he expected. 

There's a girl who couldn't withdraw her cash from ATM machine. She got only 20 bucks in her wallet. She thought, how could she survived with that amount within a week?As she walked to return to her home, somebody approached her. He was a man who sold snacks to survive for his life. He offered her to buy some.Sympathy feeling hits her and without any doubt, she opened her wallet and bought a pack of snacks.She knew that she won't have enough money to survive within a week but,helping others who really in needs is a priority.

A few days has passed and there's only 3bucks in her wallet."How can I spend with this amount?",she turned her glance outside of window,thinking the way to survive for another 2 days. Knock,knock... Her door was knocked by her housemate. "My mum just came and she brings me some food. Let's eat together"She smiled. 

Say: "Truly my Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and [also] restricts [it] for him , and whatsoever you spend anything [ in Allah's Cause] , He will replace it . And He is the Best of Providers." (QS Saba 34:39)

Translated:

Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya Tuhanku melapangkan rezeki bagi sesiapa yang dikehendaki-Nya di antara hamba-hambaNya dan menyempitkan bagi[sesiapa yang dikehendakiNya].Dan barang apa sahaja yang kamu nafkahkan, maka Allah akan menggantikannya dan Dialah Pemberi Rezeki yang sebaik-baiknya." (QS Saba 34:39)

Priority

First love. It's hard to let each other go if it was the first person that we shared and learn what is love with. But you still have to let them go or else the thing might be get worse. Allah will not approve if we love someone and at the same time,we destroy the love that we've created.Things will not get better unless we tie the love one with the marriage. Allah would please with it.

We cried. Cried for the person that we have to leave or being left. It is hurt right. But it's more hurt if we were threw into the black flame for the 'things' we have commited. It's worth it if we cried for the sins that we have commited to our Creator.

I've been in that place, where I fell in love with someone and shared our feelings together. We spent years for it. However, we turned the love into something to be apart. Allah is more than everything in the world to put on with. Just put the priority on Him and keep holding the trust to Him. If the destiny belongs to us, then it will be. Allah is planning something better to make our life interesting. Enjoy our life in the right path. Then, the happiness is ours.
